    Arroyo Campgrounds Empty Arroyo Campgrounds

Post by jeffcpr Sun Mar 26, 2023 11:23 pm

This is located in Trabuco Canyon with Trabuco Creek running right behind all the sites. We took a quick exploration trip and we were very excited by what we saw. We are already looking g at possible camping locations out there. Even if just for an over nighter. Has anyone ever stayed out there.

Never camped there but we have hiked Holy Jim trail to a waterfall. Nice hike! They used to plant trabuco canyon creek with trout but I have not seen it on the dfg.ca.gov site the last few years. It is still I nice hike or drive if the road is not washed out.

The water is running good so I am hopeful there might be something there. Would be a great way to waist a morning before breakfast. Either way we were impressed with what we saw and will be back to enjoy more.
